# Lemenzo Files

Lemenzo Files is the first-party file manager and Android Storage Access Framework picker for LemenzoOS.

Lemenzo Files replaces the user-facing and system-picker roles previously provided by AOSP DocumentsUI. It preserves OPEN_DOCUMENT, CREATE_DOCUMENT, GET_CONTENT, OPEN_DOCUMENT_TREE, MANAGE_DOCUMENTS, archive-provider and file-operation behavior while adding LemenzoOS privacy and power features.

## Important

Removing `DocumentsUI` from PRODUCT_PACKAGES is not sufficient by itself. LemenzoOS must also replace Android framework/sysconfig references to `com.android.documentsui` with `com.lemenzo.files`. See `LEMENZO_RELEASE.md` and the integration guide shipped with the release archive.
